"During cross examination, County Attorney Trujillo challenged Reed’s statement that "Approach was environmentally responsible and had no spills greater than 100 barrels." Trujillo painstakingly went over four recent spills of Approach in Texas, reported by Approach to the Railroad Commission of Texas, wherein almost 10,000 gallons of crude oil and gas well liquids were spilled and unrecovered in a 14 month period in 2006 and 2007. Another 3,000+ gallons were lost when they burned overnight, completely consuming the entire storage tank. Truijuillo asked, "These locations you have proposed are in the mountains, in the timber. What would happen if you had that fire here?"'
