Reporter Mella McEwen, of the Midland Reporter-Telegram, recently covered an announcement by a local oil and gas company, Stan Weiner of Weiner Oil & Gas, that he planned to partner with General Electric to enter into the "emerging market" of reusing the liquid by-product.
